Job Description

Responsibilities

Platform Migration Enablement

Contribute to discovery and readiness assessments for platform and workload migration and identify dependencies risks and appropriate migration sequencing

Support phased migration planning and execution for middleware workloads

Platform Foundation Operations

Support the design build and operation of production grade container platforms

Contribute to platform capabilities such as networking storage observability and backup and ensure environment separation and readiness for regulated workloads

Participate in Day2 operations stability improvements and platform hardening

Operating Model Standards

Help define how teams deploy operate and support workloads

Contribute to deployment standards runbooks and operational documentation

Support predictable upgrades scaling and incident response

Security Compliance Foundations

Work with security and architecture teams to implement

Access control and identity models

Network isolation and security boundaries

Certificate and secrets lifecycle practices

Audit and logging requirements

CICD Automation

Help design and evolve standardised CICD and automation pipeline patterns

Support Git based declarative deployment and promotion models

Ensure rollback redeploy and recovery patterns are clearly defined

Collaboration Knowledge Sharing

Mentor team members and promote DevOps best practices

Contribute to internal standards documentation and knowledge sharing

Act as a bridge between Middleware Platform Security and Architecture teams

Required Qualifications

Strong experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles

Practical experience with

Containerised workloads

Container orchestration concepts

CICD and automation pipelines

Image handling and Registries such as NexusArtifactory

Tools such as DockerPodman TektonAzure Devops pipelines

Experience operating platforms in enterprise or regulated environments

Solid understanding of

Security access control and secrets management

Observability monitoring and operational troubleshooting

Comfortable working across planning build operate and migration phases

Strong problem solving documentation and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and communicate clearly in English

Additional Qualifications

Masters degree in a related field is preferred
