• Leading the effort to implement best practices;

• Coaching and training direct reports and plant leaders in lean manufacturing and problem-solving principles;

• Assisting and mentoring direct reports, plant management and CI teams with planning and facilitation of strategic plans, kaizen workshops and other lean activities;

• Managing Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Maintenance staff;

• Analyzing part drawings and related engineering data to determine the operation necessary for the fabrication and assembly of product;

• Developing and writing sequence of operations and time estimates for each operations specification;

• Analyzing operating methods and developing new methods to improve economy and quality;

• Coordinating the implementation of engineering change order requests for all related departments;

• Providing technical support with corporate IT for hardware and other IT coordination.

Education: 4-year degree required; Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines preferred.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in various manufacturing, operations and supervision roles;

• 5+ years of successful experience with implementing Lean Manufacturing;

• Six Sigma Black Belt;

• Exceptional leadership, communication, problem solving, negotiation and Project Management skills;

• Experience delivering training to large groups;

• Experience with change management principles, ability to drive and manage the change process;

• Facilitation and coaching skills;

• Demonstrated ability to learn product lines and manufacturing processes;

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Inventor Pro software;

• Bilingual is a plus.
