Senior Java Spring Boot Developer (10 - 15 Years Experience)
Experience 10 to 15 years
Skillset: Java/J2EE, SPring/Springboot, Microservices, React, Angular, Jenkins/Bamboo/Github actions, knowledge in DB2 and AWS/Azure
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Java Spring Boot Developer who is a self-starter with strong technical depth and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building modern, scalable applications and will actively seek opportunities to grow, contribute, and lead in a collaborative, virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot
• Build and integrate RESTful services and APIs
• Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular and/or React
• Ensure high-quality code through unit, integration, and contract testing
• Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and take ownership beyond assigned tasks
• Support team members and deliverables with a "pull" mindset rather than waiting for direction
• Communicate effectively in a virtual environment and participate or lead discussions when required
Required Skills
• Strong experience in Java/J2EE
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience with Git and version control best practices
• Working knowledge of DB2 (or similar RDBMS)
• Strong experience in testing frameworks (unit, integration, contract testing)
• Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with frontend technologies: Angular and/or React
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
Good to Have
• .NET experience (optional)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Prior experience mentoring or guiding team members
