Applications Engineer at a leading industrial manufacturing and services company. This role is responsible to provide technical expertise to OEM engineering teams on encoder technologies (magnetic, inductive, optical).
This is a direct hire job opportunity. Bonus eligible and hybrid schedule.

responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise to OEM engineering teams on encoder technologies (magnetic, inductive, optical)
Support application engineering: feasibility analysis, specification matching, troubleshooting, EMC considerations, performance requirements.
Lead technical discussions: architecture reviews, feedback loop requirements, controller interface compatibility
Own the business development for assigned region including opportunity creation, customer targeting and pipeline management
Identify high-value opportunities by understanding customer architectures, applications and pain points. Required Qualifications:
Experience with encoder technologies (absolute / incremental, magnetic / inductive / optical)
Background in robotics, CNC, automation, motion control, mechatronics
Ability to generate business, convert opportunities, and influence customer decisions.qualifications:
