We’re seeking a Material Handler to work at a leading distribution center in Columbus, OH.
This opportunity could be the one you’ve been looking for.\n\n $20 per hour\n\nShift: 8am - 5pm Mon - Fri\n\n \n\n\n\n\nWhat’s a typical day as Material Handler?
You’ll be:\n\n\n\tMaintaining the flow of stocked and delivered inventory by pulling material from bins and loading materials onto trucks\n\tPlacing new material arrivals into bins and accurately recording inventory data via scanning or manual entry\n\tUnloading materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks and inspecting them for quality requirements\n\tStocking and transferring materials, tools, and equipment to appropriate storage locations based on predetermined criteria\n\tMarking materials with correct identifying information and assembling customer orders for packaging and shipment\n\tPreparing documentation for various shipping methods (UPS, LTL, Air, etc.)\n\tAdhering to all required safety policies and maintaining warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and customer safety standards\n\tReporting directly to the Branch Manager or as assigned\n\n\nThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:\n\n\n\tHave a High School Diploma or GED (required)\n\tAre able to read, write, and speak English proficiently to ensure safety and clear communication\n\tPossess basic math, typing, and computer skills\n\tAre able to provide documentation verifying legal work status\n\tAre willing to learn federal, health, and safety regulations as well as warehouse operations and business processes\n\tDemonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and ethical conduct\n\tCan perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation\n\n\n Helping you discover what’s next in your career is what we’re all about, so let’s get to work.
