Oracle Database Administrator

What we’re Looking For?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator with strong expertise in managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise-level Oracle databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in high availability environments, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and database security. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling mission-critical systems with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database environments (Oracle 11g/12c/19c or later).

Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.

Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump.

Implement and manage high availability solutions such as Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and replication.

Design, implement, and manage real-time data replication using Oracle GoldenGate.

Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime.

Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with organizational policies.

Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations.

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for database-related requirements.

Maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and standards.

Provide on-call support and resolve critical production issues.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

08 years+ of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.

Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture and database internals.

Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, and Oracle GoldenGate.

Hands-on experience working with Oracle Exadata (installation, configuration, and performance optimization).

Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning tools.

Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.

Experience in database security, auditing, and compliance.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Oracle certifications (OCP/OCA) will be a plus
