Pay: $19.25/hr
Location: Waterloo, IN
Schedule: M-F Day Shift. Mon - Thu 6am-6pm and Fri 6a-230p
What You’ll Do
As a General Laborer, you’ll support daily production and help ensure every product meets Techo-Bloc’s high quality standards. You’ll work alongside machine operators and assist with key processes such as:
Inspect finished product for height, shape, color, and consistency
Perform quality checks and remove defective pieces as needed
Rework/replace blocks to ensure every pallet is customer-ready
Package finished product by adding:
packaging materials
top sheet
labels
final quality check before going to the yard
Keep all products packaged neatly, safely, and securely
Assist with production support tasks such as:
pallet repair
general maintenance support
yard support
other assigned tasks to keep production moving
Maintain a clean work area and support plant clean-up
Follow all safety practices including PPE and Lockout/Tagout proceduresQualifications

Qualifications
Able to read basic instructions and communicate clearly
Reliable and on time for scheduled shifts
Comfortable working independently and with a team
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Strong attention to detail and good common sense
Able to multitask and problem-solve on the floor
Comfortable operating basic machinery/support equipment (training provided)
Preferred
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year manufacturing experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain stationary or move throughout the workstations; also includes the ability to ascend and descend steps and ladders; and position self in tight spaces. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
