OVERVIEW
Under limited supervision, performs janitorial services for the ASC Greenway. Monitors the cleanliness of the facilities.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Performs janitorial services (i.e. sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, clean and sanitize restrooms, collects and empties trash/recycling)
Performs routine custodial and maintenance work as required; assists with preventative maintenance as needed
Exercises care and safety with equipment and supplies used; maintains equipment and keeps it in good working order
Responsible for monitoring use of cleaners and understands MSDS sheets and procedures
Identifies and reports building maintenance needs
Assists with protecting property; reports damage and theft to supervisor. delivers any found articles to supervisor
Operates a variety of equipment (i.e. vacuum, floor cleaner, including plungers, etc.)
Checks and monitors facilities
Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations (i.e. OSHA, health and safety regulations and guidelines)
Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED with previous custodial experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Current CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training; will train
Valid driver's license with safe driving history
REPORTING TO THIS POSITION
No supervisory responsibilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Some physical requirements could be endurance-related, including prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, walking long distances, climbing, and stretching; requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate equipment and activities; requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate activities; exposure to inconsistent weather conditions such as sun, heat, or rain. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects when needed. Physical demands are in excess of those for sedentary work; must be able to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
