DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive a forklift in an efficient and safe manner
Do simple maintenance checks on forklifts
Load and unload all types of trucks and materials
Operate stretch wrap machine
Stack and unstack pallets
Keep legible records
Keep work area neat and clean
Pull rework and reassemble
Work in other departments as a fill-in if needed
Enter inventory data into inventory tracking system
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED preferred
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be able to drive a forklift in an efficient and safe manner
Must be proficient in reading and math
Must be able to work without supervision
Must be able to follow directions
Computer literate for data entry
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
GMP'S
General safety
Controlling food allergens in the plant
Forklift safety
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. of product occasionally
Lifting manually limited 5% of the day
Standing 35% of the day
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
Safety equipment to be used as instructed
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed in a plant environment
Exposed to any number of elements (heat, steam and cold)
Sitting @ desk and or on forklift 65% of the day Frequently during the day getting on and off of fork truck

Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
