Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). The ideal candidate with strong expertise in TOSCA automation, Jira, and risk-based testing, leading complex projects while driving CI/CD efficiency and clear stakeholder communication.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $39/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test strategies for integration and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality and business readiness.
Lead and coordinate testing efforts for complex projects with multiple dependencies, mentoring and supporting App Suite Quality Engineers.
Perform risk-based testing, test automation, and performance testing to improve coverage, efficiency, and speed to delivery.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA, and manage test cycles, defects, and reporting through Jira.
Manage test data and test environments while supporting CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
Communicate test progress, risks, and quality metrics clearly to stakeholders using strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in software quality engineering and test leadership roles.
Proven experience as a Test Lead managing integration and end-to-end testing for complex applications with multiple dependencies.
Hands-on expertise in TOSCA test automation and Jira, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Pay Details: $37.00 to $39.00 per hour
