General Practice Veterinarian – Columbus, OH

A veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) to join its collaborative and patient-focused team. Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions

Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient

Provide preventive care, including wellness exams and vaccinations

Perform surgical and dental procedures appropriate to experience level

Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiology and in-house laboratory equipment

Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care

Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care

Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation

Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution

Active or eligible veterinary license in good standing

Strong clinical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to care

Commitment to practicing high-quality, compassionate medicine

Open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates (mentorship available)
