A well-respected Fairfield County personal injury law firm seeks a workers' compensation attorney to join their thriving practice!
Qualifications:
Admitted to CT Bar in good standing
0 to 4 years of CT workers' compensation experience
a newly CT barred attorney with exposure to the flow of a workers' compensation case AND the desire to learn workers' compensation law in a greater capacity
Proficient in all phases of a workers' compensation cases OR have a desire be mentored and learn
Excellent analytical skills
Professional written & verbal communication skills
Ability to develop positive rapport with a diverse group of people
Adept at working efficiently and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Balance working independently and collaborating with others
Proactive results-focused work ethic
Responsibilities include:
Represent and counsel clients regarding their legal rights and obligations
Review, analyze, and evaluate all case information and investigative materials
Accountable for adherence to statute of limitations and notice deadlines
Negotiate, settle, and try plaintiff personal injury cases
Timely communication with clients and medical providers
Provide outstanding client service in a professional and ethical manner
Establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with fellow attorneys and support staff
Occasional travel to CT courts
Follow the firm’s operating procedures and case management guidelines
