We are looking for a QA Manager / QA Lead to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Our client is seeking a highly experienced QA Manager / QA Lead to lead quality assurance efforts in a retail technology environment. This role is hands-on and strategic, responsible for ensuring quality across enterprise systems such as SAP, POS, and OMS. Candidates must be located in Ohio, as this role supports teams within the region.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and execute quality assurance strategies across retail systems and applications

Remain hands-on with test planning, execution, and defect management

Oversee QA activities for systems including SAP, Point of Sale (POS), and Order Management Systems (OMS)

Define and enforce QA standards, processes, and best practices

Partner closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality outcomes

Coordinate testing across releases, integrations, and system enhancements

Manage and communicate QA status, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders

Support both manual and automated testing efforts as appropriate

Mentor and guide QA team members while leading by example What We're Looking For

8+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience

Experience operating as a QA Manager, QA Lead, or senior-level QA professional

Background in a retail technology environment

Experience testing systems such as SAP, POS, and/or OMS

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and lifecycle processes

Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on execution

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
