Contract Web Designer

We work with Canada's leading builders, developers, and visionaries of the built environment, delivering creative that drives real commercial impact.

We're looking for freelance and contract web designers to collaborate with our team. We treat our freelancers as trusted extensions of our team, not outside vendors.

What You'll Do

Design high-quality websites from wireframes through to dev-ready handoff, with a strong emphasis on UI/UX, accessibility, and conversion.

Collaborate with our team on site mapping, contribute to overall project strategy, and ensure every design decision is grounded in the client's goals.

Revise and refine work based on feedback and evolving project needs

Manage multiple projects at once, and maintain organized, well-documented design files in line with our workflows.

What You Bring

Strong visual design skills with a solid grasp of layout, typography, colour theory, and branding fundamentals.

Proficiency in Figma is required.

Communicate clearly, manage your time well, and know how to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.

Web development skills are an asset, though not required, as we work with a dedicated developer on all builds.

A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience is equally considered.

A portfolio that demonstrates both creativity and craft is required.
