The Healthcare Customer Service Representative is an entry-level, customer service–focused role responsible for supporting members, providers, health plans, and internal teams through inbound and outbound communications.
This position is primarily phone- and service-oriented and does not include claims-processing responsibilities.
Compensation: $23/hr Availability: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
This role will start off fully on-site for training (2-4 months) and them will move to a hybrid role.
Duties & Responsibilities:Provide high-quality customer service to members, providers, employer groups, health plans, and internal staff via phone, email, and other communication channelsServe as the primary point of contact for non-claims inquiries, including eligibility, benefits, plan navigation, provider responsibilities, and network questionsRespond to general service questions, requests, and concerns in a professional, timely, and accurate mannerAssist with member and provider questions related to coverage, benefits, and finding in-network providersDocument all interactions accurately and in accordance with company policiesMeet or exceed established customer service performance metrics such as call volume, talk time, and quality standardsHandle Protected Health Information in compliance with HIPAA requirementsOther duties as assigned Qualifications:1+ year of customer service experience in health insurance or a related environmentBasic knowledge of medical and health insurance terminologyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, service-driven environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team CampusPoint is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
