Production Supervisor Location: Columbus, OH Shift: 2nd Shift (Overtime and weekend work required) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Supervisor to lead operations within our food manufacturing facility in Columbus, OH.

This role is responsible for overseeing safety, quality, production performance, staffing, and efficiencies for the assigned department on 2nd shift.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced, highly regulated environment and is comfortable supporting operational needs through overtime and weekend work as required.

Key Responsibilities Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained to meet production demandsEnforce all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/TagoutPrepare and review daily production and efficiency reports; drive results to meet or exceed targetsEnsure all quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance are metVerify HACCP documentation in accordance with the approved HACCP planMonitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Apply BRC / Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) principles and ensure compliance through training and oversightLead, motivate, and develop production team members to support engagement and performance Role Essentials Oversight of departmental safety, quality, production output, staffing, and efficiencyAccountability for audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and operational performanceContinuous improvement mindset with the ability to address issues quickly and effectively Key Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem solving and decision making abilitiesStrong math and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to make quick, sound decisions in a production environmentProven team leadership and organizational skillsHighly responsible, dependable, and detail oriented Qualifications Minimum 5 years of food processing experience with USDA and HACCP familiarity (meat industry preferred)Previous experience in an RTE (Ready to Eat) facility a plusBachelor’s degree in Meat Science, Agriculture Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferredExperience or training in HACCP, GMPs, Safety, Lockout/Tagout, and BRC or Global StandardsDemonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment Why Join Us?
