IPR Specialist

We are looking for an IPR professional from the biotech (preferred) or pharmaceutical sector to manage patent searches, analytics, and portfolio activities. The role supports R&D and business teams with clear, decision-ready IP insights.

️ Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Patentability, FTO, Invalidity/Validity searches, and technology landscape studies.

• Prepare competitive intelligence reports, whitespace analysis, and patent watch updates.

• Manage the patent portfolio, including filing, prosecution, and coordination with external IP partners.

• Support R&D with IP training, prior-art searches, and product-related patent mapping.

• Perform market and non-patent literature research for new product development.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with patent databases such as Orbit, PatSeer, PatBase, and TotalPatent One.

• Good understanding of patent law, search methodologies, and the IP lifecycle.

• Experience in patent prosecution.

• Ability to generate concise analytical reports for R&D and leadership.
