Material Handler / Assembly Machine Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Assembly Machine Operator to support warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for moving, storing, and preparing materials, as well as operating assembly machinery to meet production, quality, and shipping goals.
Shift: 1st Shift 7am-3pm - 2nd shift 3pm-11pm - 3rd Shift 11pm-7am
Pay: 1st Shift $17.75
2nd & 3rd Shift - $19.25
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload materials, products, and inventory safely
Package and prepare materials for shipment to fulfill orders
Store materials in designated locations according to company procedures
Operate assembly machines to assemble parts or products according to established work instructions
Start, stop, and monitor assembly machine operations to ensure proper function
Perform basic quality inspections and identify defects or issues
Report machine malfunctions, product defects, or safety concerns to supervision
Track, manage, and maintain accurate inventory records
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages
Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes (as assigned)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulationsQualifications & Skills
Previous manufacturing, assembly, or material handling experience preferred
Ability to operate or learn to operate assembly machinery
Ability to lift heavy materials on a regular basis
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good organizational and time management skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable, punctual, and team-orientedWork Environment & Physical Requirements
