Job Description

First Call Staffing is currently seeking candidates for a 1st Shift Machine Operator position at a starting rate of $19.25 per hour.

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Overtime opportunities may be available on weekdays and/or Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including (but not limited to) core drills, trim saws, grinders, and CNC lathes, in accordance with established procedures.

Inspect products using appropriate measuring tools and gauges.

Monitor workmanship quality to minimize material waste.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of processes and procedures.

Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve them.

Accurately document and maintain production records.

Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Perform routine equipment maintenance as required.

Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance; flexibility for additional hours, nights, or weekends may be required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in setting up and operating fabrication equipment preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent preferred.

CNC experience preferred.

Experience with tooling and fixtures is a plus

Requirements:

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Person requirement).

An onsite interview with supervisory staff is required as part of the selection process.

Final candidates must successfully complete a 10-panel drug screening and comprehensive background check prior to employment.
