Duties
Leadership Staff Management
Lead, mentor, and support teachers and staff daily
Conduct staff evaluations, coaching, and ongoing training
Create staff schedules and maintain proper classroom coverageCenter Operations
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and organization
Maintain proper staff-to-child ratios at all times
Manage enrollment, tours, and family onboardingCompliance Safety
Ensure full compliance with TDHS licensing standards
Maintain accurate records (attendance, incident reports, child files)
Enforce health, safety, and sanitation policiesCurriculum Oversight
Ensure classrooms follow age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
Support teachers in delivering engaging, educational activities
Monitor classroom environments for quality and consistencyFamily Engagement
Build strong, professional relationships with families
Address concerns with professionalism and care
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required)
Minimum of2 years experienceworking in a licensed childcare setting
Previous leadership or management experience (strongly preferred)
Knowledge ofTennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS)licensing regulations
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Must pass background check •Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and organization
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
