IT Consultant/Oracle Database Administrator

Description:
Diversified Systems is searching for an experienced IT Consultant/Oracle Database Administrator who will drive high-caliber database design, solution delivery, and support in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The successful candidate must be an influential technical leader with deep database expertise and a collaborative style that

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and administer Oracle RAC DBs version19c and above, including the design, configuration and operation of n-node clusters and data recovery.
Configure Physical standby databases and perform switchover/failover activities. Troubleshoot standby and switchover issues.
Configuration management, performance tuning and administration of mission critical production databases
Installation/Patching/Upgrade of the OEM, database software on AIX platform, RMAN backup and recovery of the Oracle Database, performance tuning, migration, data guard replication, configuration and security administration.
Perform Schema level and Table level data refreshes from Production to Non-Production environments using Data pump EXPDP/IMPDP.
Requirements:
8 years experience as an Oracle database administrator. Required.
4 years experience supporting Oracle 19c. Required.
5 years experience as an Oracle database administrator using the AIX operating system version 7.x or higher, including at least 2 years supporting Oracle 19c. Required.
5 years experience setting up, building, and configuring Oracle RAC environments, including at least 3 years supporting Oracle 19c. Required.
5 years experience using the full functionality of RMAN backup utilities including full backups, incremental backups, cloning, and restore and recovery, with at least 2 years supporting Oracle 19c. Required.
5 years experience with Active Data Guard and Data Guard Broker, including at least 1 year supporting Oracle 19c. Required.
5 years experience working within an AIX operating system environment version 7.x or higher. Required.
2 years experience with ExaCC and OCI features including resource provisioning, ZDM migration, observability, performance diagnostics, database backup and recovery, and capacity management. Required.
2 years experience using snapshot cloning technology with Oracle ACFS in Oracle RAC and standby database environments using Oracle 12c or 19c. Required.
2 years experience writing PL/SQL code. Required.
Other Requirements:
Extensive experience setting up and managing high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
Experience with database migration methods including ZDM, GoldenGate, RMAN duplicate, RMAN backup, restore and recovery, and Data Pump.
Experience working in Oracle data warehouse environments.
Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure database services and ExaCC, including resource provisioning, ZDM migration, observability, performance diagnostics, capacity planning, and security and compliance.
Extensive experience with shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Monitor database activities including backups, error logs, space usage, object management, performance, users, and session monitoring to ensure proper capacity and availability.
Provide non production and production support and lead troubleshooting of production issues and application performance problems.
Experience working with OLTP, OLAP, staging, and data warehouse configurations.
Highly specialized experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c including installation and configuration of email notifications, alerts, and metric extensions.
Highly specialized experience in Oracle 19c RAC database administration and technical architecture including ASM storage, SCAN listeners, GDS, gateways, RMAN backup and recovery, performance tuning, and database refreshes from production to lower environments.
Expert experience architecting and implementing Oracle Advanced Security options including TDE encryption, data redaction, VPD, unified auditing, data classification, and preventative security techniques for data at rest and in transit.
Well established experience working with Oracle GoldenGate 19c or higher.
Work with development teams and lead application tuning efforts to improve performance.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills along with strong customer service and client management abilities.
