CNC 4-Axis Setup Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC 4-Axis Setup Machine Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-axis machining, strong attention to detail, and the ability to ensure parts meet quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC 4-axis machines according to job specifications

Install and align fixtures, tooling, and attachments

Load, edit, and verify CNC programs as needed

Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machine zero points

Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

Troubleshoot machining issues and perform minor machine maintenance

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards

Qualifications:

2+ years of CNC setup experience (4-axis preferred)

Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling

Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Experience with G-code and CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, or similar)

Knowledge of GD&T is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate:

$20 – $40 per hour (based on experience)
