Job Description

The Commercial Plumbing Estimator / Project Manager plays a critical role in managing a variety of commercial plumbing projects, ranging from new construction to renovations and retrofits. Reporting directly to the Owner/Executive, this position oversees medium-sized teams of 6-15 members and ensures projects meet budget, timeline, and quality expectations. Utilizing specialized software tools, the role demands strong expertise in cost estimation, project planning, and client liaison to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Estimate costs accurately for commercial plumbing projects

Plan project phases and allocate resources effectively

Consult with clients to understand project requirements and expectations

Coordinate vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery

Manage budgets and track financial performance

Review contracts to mitigate risks and ensure compliance

Oversee timeline management and adjust schedules as needed

Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial plumbing estimation or project management

Preferred Qualifications

Valid plumbing license

Knowledge of commercial plumbing codes

Experience with cost estimation software

Contract negotiation skills

Strong budgeting and vendor management capabilities

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
