Quality Assurance Technician-Willing To Train Machinists

Hiring Basis: Direct hire

Hours: 1st shift 8 hour day open to working any hours between the hours of 6am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Location: Spring Lake Park, MN 55432

Pay: $25-$35/Hourly/W2

JOB OVERVIEW

Lotus Technical has a direct hire opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician on the day shift for our client, a precision grinding and machining shop located in Spring Lake Park, MN. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder. Must be local to the MN area. Sorry, no relocations. Position is contingent on criminal background, and drug test.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

The quality assurance responsibilities include receiving, in-process and final inspections along with tooling calibrations and record keeping. Previous QC experience in manufacturing, a precision machining, or precision grinding shop is required. This person also works closely with the staff and customers to resolve issues to ensure parts get run.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

2+ years experience in QA or related field. (We are willing to train an experienced machinist or grinder looking to move into this type of position.)

Ability to set up and use various inspection equipment; caliper, gage blocks, micrometer, radius gage, CMM etc.

Must have valid driver’s license

Pass be able to pass UA screen/drug test.

Strong math skills.

Very keen ability to pay attention to detail.

Able to work with minimal supervision.

Must be US Citizen, or Green Card Holder.
