I opened my agency in 2000 after spending years as a manufacturers rep selling building materials a company I owned and eventually sold before being referred to State Farm by a lifelong friend. Im a proud Ithaca College graduate with two daughters, and when Im not in the office, youll usually find me fly fishing, camping, or doing anything that gets me outdoors. Giving back to the community is important to me, and I enjoy supporting local police initiatives and children in need.
Our team includes five dedicated members, and I make it a priority to create a supportive, balanced work environment. I buy lunch for the team at least twice a week, often bring in coffee, and provide health benefits, strong work-life balance, and licensing reimbursement. Tom Lewis - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
