About the Role:

As a Referrals Coordinator at Lovelace Family Medicine PA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the best care possible. Join our dedicated team in Prosperity, SC, and help streamline the referral process for our valued patients.

Responsibilities:

Manage incoming and outgoing patient referrals with precision and care.

Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and specialists.

Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for referrals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our system.

Assist patients in scheduling appointments with referred specialists.

Follow up on referral outcomes to ensure continuity of care.

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.

Collaborate with the medical team to enhance patient experience.Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare education is a plus.

Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with medical terminology and referral processes.

Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
