Java Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Application Developer to support and enhance international retail store applications. This role involves hands-on development, technical leadership, and collaboration across multi-tiered system environments. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced settings, adapt quickly to new technologies, and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Responsibilities

Develop, debug, and test application programs using Java and web-based technologies supporting sales capture, device integration, and web services.

Provide development support for international retail store applications.

Optimize and performance-tune multi-tiered application systems.

Serve as a technical lead on complex store system projects, including requirements estimation, system design, and solution development.

Stay current with emerging software tools, frameworks, and programming techniques.

Ensure all deliverables meet functional and quality expectations within established timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.

5+ years of hands-on application development experience using:

Java

Spring

Spring Boot

SQL

Log4j

Web Services

Oracle databases

Required experience with Spring Boot, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Docker and AngularJS is a plus.

Oracle Retail POS experience is highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
