Product Tech-3rd Shift / Full Time

Job Description

Blood Assurance is seeking full time PRODUCT TECHNICIAN to work in our downtown Chattanooga lab location on 3rd Shift (11:00PM-7:00AM) Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends and occasional holidays. This position offers a shift premium. 3rd shift experience is expected.

Product Technician Job duties include but are not limited to:

Answering phone to take orders from area hospitals that are in need

Packing blood and/or blood products for distribution according to standard operating procedures.

Notifying Courier when shipment is ready for pick up.

Receiving blood components from multiple locations.

Manufacture blood and blood components according to standard operating procedures.

Qualified Product Technician candidate will need to:

Be detailed oriented

Have excellent customer services skills (both verbal and written)

Have computer skills

Be able to lift 50lbs on a routine basis
