Hiring: Senior CDN Engineer

Work Location: Woonsocket, RI

Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced CDN Engineer to design, optimize, and support enterprise-scale content delivery solutions. This role requires strong expertise in CDN platforms, automation, networking, and performance optimization.

Key Skills Required:

* Experience with CDN platforms such as Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, Imperva, AWS CloudFront

* Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, Node.js, or Java)

* Experience with automation frameworks (Terraform, GitOps)

* Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Akamai TrafficPeak)

* Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, WAF, load balancing)

* Experience with REST APIs, Postman, and caching strategies

Key Responsibilities:

* Configure, optimize, and maintain CDN solutions for performance and reliability

* Build automation frameworks to manage CDN configurations

* Implement caching, routing, DNS, and security configurations

* Monitor system performance and create dashboards and alerts

* Troubleshoot issues, perform incident resolution, and conduct root cause analysis

* Support on-call operations and handle late-night CDN releases

* Collaborate with developers, network, and security teams for seamless integration

* Provide architecture recommendations and deployment strategies for enterprise applications

Additional Details:

* Flexibility required for late-night release schedules

* Experience with AWS/GCP and distributed environments preferred

* Strong focus on performance optimization, security, and scalability
