Job Description

A leading manufacturer of metal stamped products and services is looking for Machine Operators to fill Single Press or Value-add positions. The role involves operating machinery, conducting in-process inspections, reporting issues to the Production Supervisor, and ensuring safe and efficient product stamping. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate specific needs with material handler regarding material/scrap removal and product removal from the line

Report miss-hits or problems to the Production Supervisor

Report labor time and part count to the appropriate work order router

Perform stamping in-process inspections, including statistical process control data collection

Conduct equipment inspections, including safety checks, press maintenance, and tool maintenance

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Must demonstrate the physical ability to perform tasks safely and efficiently

Basic computer skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs

Ability to reach, bend, push, or pull to place or retrieve materials

Must wear personal protective equipment while on the shop floor
