Role Overview We are seeking an Operations & Manufacturing Manager to take ownership of our production floor and drive operational performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for improving throughput, building structure, and ensuring production consistently meets demand.
The right candidate will not just manage operations, but actively improve them.
Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including scheduling, workflow, and staffing • Manage production planning to align output with demand and minimize delays • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to increase throughput • Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) across production processes • Lead and develop production teams, ensuring accountability and performance • Maintain and improve quality control standards • Coordinate with purchasing and inventory to ensure proper material flow and availability • Track and report on key metrics such as output, efficiency, and downtime • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment Qualifications • Proven experience managing or significantly improving manufacturing operations • Strong background in production planning, workflow optimization, and process improvement • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive performance on the floor • Experience building structure in growing or evolving environments • Solid understanding of quality control and manufacturing best practices • Strong problem-solving skills with a results-driven approach • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and production tracking tools • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Effective communication and leadership skills Preferred: • Experience in automotive, machining, fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments • Familiarity with CNC machining, fabrication, or assembly operations • Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field Compensation $120,000 – $140,000 DOE + performance-based incentives Why This Role • High level of ownership and direct impact on company performance • Opportunity to improve systems and drive operational efficiency • Work closely with leadership on scaling production • Long-term growth potential within a growing company
