Location: Arlington, VA (100% On-site)

Duration: 9-Month Contract-to-Hire

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Software Developers to join a high-performing team in Arlington, VA. This role is focused on the analysis, design, and coding of new features and performance improvements within a collaborative, onshore environment. Given an aggressive project timeline, the ideal candidates will be self-starters capable of hitting the ground running and mastering new domains quickly.

Core Responsibilities

Software Development: Analyze, design, code, and update software to support new feature implementation and system performance enhancements.

Containerization & Orchestration: Leverage Docker and Kubernetes (specifically RKE2) for modern container management and automation.

Systems Integration: Collaborate across teams to support seamless software deployments and integrations.

Networking & Protocols: Implement and manage interface communication standards including TCP/IP, UDP, and DDS.

Configuration Management: Utilize software source control and configuration management tools to maintain code integrity.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR a Masters degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.

Technical Stack: Proficiency in C++, Java, and Python.

Operating Systems: Advanced knowledge of Linux environments.

DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Databases: Solid understanding of database management and integration.

Communication: Strong ability to collaborate in an in-house team setting.
