A national client is seeking a MidLevel Employment Litigation Associate to join its Phoenix office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience who is looking to build a sophisticated employment litigation and counseling practice within a collaborative and fastpaced environment.

Responsibilities

Handle employmentrelated litigation matters, including claims involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and restrictive covenants

Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery, including managing complex factual and legal issues

Litigate restrictive covenant and trade secrets disputes

Provide employment counseling support to HR professionals and business leaders

Draft and advise on bonus and incentive plans, employee handbooks, arbitration agreements, and employment policies

Partner with senior attorneys on strategy, risk assessment, and client communications

Preferred Experience

Meaningful experience litigating employment law claims

Exposure to restrictive covenant, noncompete, and trade secrets matters

Experience advising clients on workplace policies, compensation structures, and employment agreements

Candidates with strong general litigation backgrounds and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law are encouraged to apply

Qualifications

Active admission to the Arizona Bar (required)

JD from an ABAaccredited law school

Excellent academic credentials

Strong legal writing, analytical, and problemsolving skills

Ability to manage multiple matters in a dynamic, deadlinedriven environment

Selfstarter who works well independently and collaboratively as part of a team
