Hiring First Shift Warehouse Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Area Owner to support warehouse operations. This role is responsible for maintaining organization, inventory accuracy, and overall readiness within an assigned area.

This is not just a stocking position—this role requires strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to keep operations running smoothly across all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain full ownership of assigned area, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and shift readiness

Stock and organize materials while maintaining proper lot separation and product traceability

Manage and consolidate pallets to maximize space and support production needs

Keep back stock, packaging, and supply areas clean and compliant

Ensure pallets are properly prepared and ready for picking/replenishment

Monitor inventory levels of boxes, mailers, and supplies for packing teams

Assist with pallet wrapping, staging shipments, and loading trucks as needed

Perform daily housekeeping (sweeping, waste removal, scrubber use, etc.)

Support material replenishment and deliver supply orders as required

Identify damaged pallets or empty picking locations and coordinate timely resolution

Return unused materials to stock following proper procedures

Qualifications

2-3 years of warehouse or distribution experience required

Previous leadership or ownership experience preferred

Strong understanding of inventory flow and material handling

Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities

Experience with pallet jacks and warehouse equipment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Ensures all warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards are consistently met.

Proactively identifies and resolves issues related to inventory, space utilization, or workflow interruptions.
