Aerotek is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a company located in West Memphis, AR. These positions are 1st shift 7am-330pm (plus overtime as needed) and are direct hire opportunities. Please apply for immediate consideration.

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining various piping systems, including stainless steel, galvanized, CPVC, lined steel, and FRP, following plant specifications. You will also perform troubleshoot and repair liquid processing equipment, seals, motors, valves, etc.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain general industrial equipment.

Maintain all plant equipment utilizing PdM, PM, and other maintenance strategies.

Repair and maintain pumps by troubleshooting, rebuilding, and performing shaft and motor alignments.

Install bearings, seals, gears, chains, sprockets, and other mechanical power-transmission components.

Troubleshoot, repair, or replace block valves, control valves, solenoid valves, valve positioners, and pneumatic actuators.

Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other plant vehicles safely and efficiently.

Maintain and repair lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, and rigging systems.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment specifications.

Apply proper lockout-tagout procedures and energy-isolation techniques.

Proficiently operate shop tools including drills, saws, grinders, and related equipment.

Demonstrate consistent adherence to safe work practices.

Analyze problems, develop effective solutions, and communicate clearly with team members.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.

Mechanical skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

Experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps, motors, valves

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the chemical industry.

Forklift operation experience.

Ability to perform heavy lifting.
