Janitor - Special Projects (Floor Care & Light Housekeeping)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Janitor – Special Projects team member to support our facility with specialized floor care and general housekeeping duties. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Floor Buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing of facility floors

· Use of floor machines and cleaning equipment safely and effectively

· Special project cleaning as assigned

· Light housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal

· Maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and designated workplaces

· Following infection control and safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

· Experience with floor care equipment preferred

· Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience in healthcare or commercial settings is a plus

· Ability to work independently and follow directions

· Strong attention to detail and reliability
