The ideal candidate will bring a broad understanding of AI/ML applications, sustainability domains, and systems-level thinking, complemented by strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and program management capabilities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

Design, develop, and validate advanced AI/ML models for energy transition projects.

Collaborate with stakeholders and domain experts to understand challenges, frame AI ready problem statements, and identify high impact solutions.

Lead end to end AI initiatives, including data acquisition, feature engineering, model deployment, and performance monitoring.

Integrate AI solutions into existing systems, digital twins, and operational workflows.

Stay abreast of AI research and translate emerging methods into practical, real world applications.

Work across cross functional teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership.

Contribute to technical outputs, including documentation, patents, and peer reviewed publications.

Nine (9) years of experience in a substantive industrial, technological, or laboratory setting directly related to the job’s focus.

Preferred background in research involving theoretical, computational, modeling, and/or simulation, with demonstrated application of advanced AI/ML methods to accelerate, enhance, or transform these areas. Coding in PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX skills are also required.

Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlined.

Candidate should be comfortable in working independently or part of a project team, frequent project presentation and travel to meetings at conferences and universities.
