Junior Full Stack Software Developer

About the Role

We're creating a brand new position for a self-directed Junior Full Stack Software Developer who can work independently. This is an opportunity to be the founding technical hire, working autonomously to build enterprise SaaS solutions with cutting-edge AI technologies. You'll be responsible for driving projects from concept to deployment while building modern web applications and AI-powered features.

This position is 100% office-based and requires someone who thrives working independently with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do

Work autonomously to develop and maintain full stack features across React/TypeScript frontend and Node.js backend

Take ownership of projects from planning through deployment

Integrate and optimize AI models (Claude, GPT, or similar) into production applications

Build and deploy scalable services on AWS infrastructure independently

Make technical decisions and solve complex problems without constant guidance

Write clean, maintainable code with proper testing and documentation

Manage your own priorities and deliverables with minimal oversight

Document your work and processes for future team growth

Required Qualifications

1-2 years of software development experience (internships, projects, or professional)

Proven ability to work independently and self-manage projects

Strong self-starter who takes initiative and solves problems autonomously

Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)

Hands-on experience working with AI APIs and language models (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar)

Foundational AWS knowledge (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or equivalent services)

Understanding of RESTful APIs and database fundamentals (SQL and/or NoSQL)

Experience with Git version control and independent development workflows

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly without hand-holding

Comfortable working alone and making technical decisions independently

Preferred Skills

Experience with prompt engineering and AI model fine-tuning

Familiarity with serverless architectures and infrastructure as code

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices

Experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, or similar backend platforms

Exposure to event-driven architectures or message queues

Track record of completing projects independently
