About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior SIP/VoIP Engineer to design, operate, and enhance our global enterprise voice systems. You’ll play a hands-on role supporting carrier-grade voice infrastructure, ensuring call quality and uptime, and driving operational excellence. This position is ideal for someone who is fluent in SIP technologies, enjoys troubleshooting complex call flows, and thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
What You’ll Do
Support and maintain voice infrastructure, including SBCs, policy servers, and voice gateways
Troubleshoot SIP signaling and call flow issues across global platforms
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to high-severity incidents as needed
Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, Network, and Security teams to ensure reliable and secure service delivery
Partner with vendors for platform updates, tuning, and escalations
Implement and refine monitoring, alerting, and automation to improve operational efficiency
Contribute to the documentation, design, and continuous improvement of the voice environment
What You’ll Bring
7–10+ years of experience in voice engineering, operations or telecom infrastructure
Strong understanding of SIP stack architecture, call setup and troubleshooting methodologies
Hands-on experience with SBCs and policy servers (Ribbon experience required)
Familiarity with voice routing, QoS, and integration with cloud and on-prem systems
Experience supporting 24x7 operations, on-call support, and incident management
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and security best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities for working with distributed teams
Nice to Have
Experience automating or scripting voice operations workflows
Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana)
