This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Internal Audit with reporting to management on the system of internal controls and identifying potential improvements.

Work is performed according to audit plans under the general direction of the Director of Internal Audit. This is a fantastic opportunity to help develop the IT Audit function to provide coverage across a new and constantly developing health network!

The ideal candidate should present advanced auditing skills; be familiar with Information Technology in use at the including how it affects controls and how to take advantage of available IT during the auditing process. Must have knowledge or COBIT, ISO, ITIL and NIST.

The incumbent must possess the necessary interpersonal skills to interact appropriately with various levels of management within the organization; and must have above average written and oral and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize effectively with flexibility to respond to changing needs and be able to juggle multiple endeavors and requirements comfortably.

The Senior IT Auditor must have strong analytical skills and problem solving skills. S/he must be detail orientated, have strong computer skills and resource management skills.

Additionally, the incumbent must demonstrate the ability to identify internal control weaknesses, non-compliance with organizational policies and/ or laws and regulations. We are looking for someone who is innovative and will look for opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.


Bachelor's degree in relevant area such as Information Technology, Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university. Master's degree is preferred.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) is required.


Four (4) years of full-time experience in auditing information systems is required (preferably in the Health Care industry) with two (2) years of supervisory or project management experience is preferred.
