Python Full stack Developer

Our Client, a Real Estate and Financial Services company, is looking for a Python Full stack Developer for their McLean, VA location.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and support systems within the financial modeling and research area.

Design and develop new code and review existing code changes to ensure standard technology development practices are met.

Assist in the operational execution of software solutions to assist with the monitoring and control of market and credit risks.

Assist with application development and modifying and/or maintaining applications; Demonstrate knowledge of development tools and languages.

Assist other areas of financial research and engineering when defining requirements for systems applications. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must have practical experience with Python, front end technologies, React, JavaScript, and web application development, along with the capability to write effective code.

Ideal candidates should have 3-7 years of relevant experience.

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field and 2 years of experience developing analytics software applications, OR Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field and five years of experience developing analytics software applications,

Demonstrated knowledge of:

Quantitative finance

Python,

Python web technologies, e.g. Flask, Dash

Python data processing technologies, e.g. Pandas, Numpy

Solid understanding on web applications, e.g. HTML, CSS, javascript

Solid understanding on DB and SQL

Linux/Unix OS

Preferred experience:

Javascript frameowork: jquery, datatable, react

Front-end design, CSS, tailwind

Cloud technology, Google Kubeflow, AWS

Mortgage or GSE experience

R, Java, C, C++, SAS
