CNC Tool Room Supervisor

Job Description

Salary:

Witco is currently looking for an individual with extensive knowledge of CNC tooling (turning and milling). This position is responsible for dispositioning used tooling, tooling inventory, purchasing new tooling, and working with machinist to identify the best tool for the application. Experience setting up lathes and mills, interpreting drawings, and strong computer skills is a must.

Wages and benefits are competitive for candidates with the required experience.

REQUIRED abilities:

Good computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Google, etc.)

5 years minimum independently performing set- ups and adjustments of CNC Mills or Lathes

5 years minimum in the industry of metal machining

Understanding of tooling applications to perform machine operations

Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speeds & feeds, depth of cut, and surface footage

Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and material

Blue Print Reading

GD&T

Understand machining characteristics of different materials

Strong communication skills are a must!

Located near Yale, Michigan, Witco Inc. is a precision CNC Turning, Milling, and Gear Cutting company that services various global industries, including: Aerospace, Medical, Defense, Oil & Gas, and Mining. We are a short run facility with typical build sizes ranging from 10-pieces to 500-pieces.
