We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding the company's reputation.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles.

Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.

Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during deliveries.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.

Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.

Experience in route driving and familiarity with local roads is advantageous.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.

Capability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.

Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is desirable but not mandatory.

Must pass background checks as required by company policy.
