Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Chef / Banquet Chef to lead large-scale culinary operations. This role requires expertise in executing high-volume events (up to 1,000+ guests) while maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can successfully coordinate multiple events simultaneously. Relocation Assistance Available
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and execute banquet menus for large-scale events (1,000+ guests)
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and food safety compliance
Coordinate and manage multiple events at the same time without compromising quality
Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and support staff
Manage inventory, food costs, ordering, and vendor relationships
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control across all events
Collaborate with event planners and management to meet client expectations and customize menus
Maintain high standards of sanitation and compliance with all health regulations
Develop innovative menu offerings and improve operational efficiency
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Banquet Chef in high-volume environments
Demonstrated ability to execute large events serving 1,000+ guests
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Solid understanding of food cost control and kitchen operations
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
