Working as part of our global Product Expert team, you will help solve technical problems, improve equipment lifecycle value, and support safe, practical, high-quality outcomes across service, spares, field support, and customer-specific engineering.
Department Description
The Product Expert team provides specialist aftermarket engineering support across spare parts, technical troubleshooting, field investigations, and equipment improvement. It acts as a bridge between regional customer needs and global engineering capability.
Your responsibilities
Deliver rapid, close-to-customer engineering support for critical customers in Central Asia, with focus on technical quality, responsiveness, and practical problem solving
Resolve technical queries from customers, suppliers, field service, and internal teams relating to spare parts, equipment design, materials, drawings, and in-service equipment issues
Undertake complex parts identification, develop technical supply lists, and maintain recommended spare parts lists, first-fill spare parts packages, and related technical records
Support review and resolution of parts-related non-conformances, material deviations, and critical spare parts technical and supply issues
Contribute to install base analysis, spare parts planning, and standardisation initiatives to improve supportability and reduce inventory and supply chain complexity
Perform site investigations, equipment audits, technical assessments, and field studies to identify customer needs and support practical engineering recommendations
Support engineering assessment, concept development, customer-specific engineering, and in-service equipment modification in collaboration with the global Product Expert and product line engineering teams
Act as a technical interface with sales, product specialists, product management, field service, and global engineering teams on non-standard, higher-risk, or product-sensitive matters
Provide technical support through supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operational troubleshooting of complex equipment issues
Lead or contribute to root cause analysis, vibration analysis, condition monitoring, reliability investigations, and failure prevention activities
Contribute to targeted engineering improvements that strengthen aftermarket solutions and improve lifecycle value, maintainability, reliability, and competitiveness
Maintain and improve engineering, spare parts, and legacy equipment data, and contribute to continuous improvement of technical methods and knowledge sharing across the Product Expert team
What you bring
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining, minerals processing, or heavy industry
Experience supporting separation products, especially flotation and thickening highly desirable
Broader mineral processing equipment knowledge is highly desirable
Field upgrade, maintenance, and in-service equipment support experience highly desirable
Design engineering experience in an= heavy industry equipment environment highly desirable
Strong spare parts, drawing interpretation, and technical troubleshooting skills
Experience supporting site investigations, audits, and customer-facing work
Working knowledge of root cause analysis, reliability, and condition monitoring
Ability to work across technical teams including sales, product specialists, product management, field service, and global engineering teams
Working knowledge of Enovia, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD highly desirable
Strong English communication skills
Russian language capability is strongly preferred
Additional local language capability relevant to Mongolia or Kazakhstan is advantageous
Practical judgement, urgency, and the ability to work effectively with limited supervision
