SQL Server DBA

We are seeking a senior-level SQL Server DBA to drive high-caliber database design and support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires an influential technical leader with deep expertise in managing MS SQL Server environments, including Virtual Machine (VM) servers and cloud platforms.

Core Requirements & Skills

To be successful in this position, you must have 6+ years of experience in the following:

SQL Server Mastery: Expert-level management of SQL Server (on-prem and cloud) independently.

High Availability: Planning and configuring cluster nodes, load balancing, log shipping, and replication.

DevOps Integration: Hands-on support for tools including Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, Maven, and Nginx.

Infrastructure: Providing DBA support for distributed servers in a multi-datacenter environment.

Platform Versatility: Collaborative experience across multiple platforms, including Azure Cloud and Oracle.

Service Configuration: Installing and coordinating SQL releases, migrations, upgrades, and maintenance (Security, JDBC, etc.).

Performance Tuning: Monitor complex environments, analyze technical problems, and implement approved solutions.

Tier III Support: Lead incident resolution and provide technical guidance to application development teams.
