Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy support under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to assist patients in regaining independence and improving daily functioning.
Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans designed by occupational therapists tailored to individual patient needs.
Assist patients with therapeutic activities to enhance physical and cognitive abilities.
Monitor and document patient progress, noting improvements and challenges.
Maintain a clean and safe environment to ensure patient safety during therapy sessions.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.
Qualifications:
Hold an active Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential or license.
Demonstrate prior experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.
Possess excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
Be able to follow detailed treatment plans and adapt as needed.
Be dependable with a strong work ethic, committed to patient care.
