Excellent opportunity with a Food & Beverage Industry manufacturer offering solid growth and upward mobility.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and leads key process, development projects;

• Upgrades technologies, and identifies, and implements new technologies that help achieve business initiatives;

• Ensures internal development design elements receive appropriate intellectual property protection;

• Provides technical assistance to the factories by ensuring the development of a technically competent and effective workforce for new technology introductions, and troubleshooting;

• Collaborates with cross functional groups and interacts with external suppliers and/or consultants to develop next generation technology roadmap.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Food, or Mechanical Engineering.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of food processing experience, including process engineering;

• 2+ years of project management experience;

• Strong knowledge of process design including product properties, engineering, and quality aspects;

• Ability to identify and implement new technologies with an emphasis on extrusion and bakery processing;

• Knowledge of drying technology, thermal process validation, HACCP, CIP/COP, etc. is desired;

• Additional knowledge of liquid direct and indirect thermal processes, fluid mechanics, and process system validation is a plus;

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;

• Travel is expected to support other factories.
