Saw Operator-3rd Shift – $18/hr

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire / Full time

3rd Shift Monday-Thursday 11pm-7am Friday 10pm-6am

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Saw Operator for our client in Decatur, AL. In this role you will have various duties. This is a great opportunity to build your career with a leading company while enjoying steady hours and overtime potential.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate the Machines, loading metal sheets or plates and ensuring the machine cuts according to the job specifications.

Calibrate machine settings, manage program files, and set parameters like speed and amperage.

Inspect finished parts for accuracy using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.

Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on the machinery.

Work with other teams, such as fabrication and welding, to ensure a smooth production workflow. Requirements

Physical: Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).

Understanding and adherence to all safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Must have HS Diploma

Must pass a measurement assessment

Must pass a Background & Drug Screen

Pay: $18/hr plus overtime
