Astria Health is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team! This position is located in Sunnyside at our Astria Health Marketing Department.
Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
What you get to do every day!
The purpose of this position is to design and create materials for approved marketing, advertising and media campaigns; internal department communication; employee communication; and more as assigned. This position has strong proofreading and editing skills and can apply brand knowledge of audience and tone as appropriate. This position prints and creates materials in-house as appropriate and coordinates production with external vendors as approved. You will:
This position will assist with the planning, coordinating, and executing internal events, community events, awareness events, fundraisers, media events, and more.
Responsible for designing, editing, copyfitting provided material into pleasing, informative, branded materials for print, media, or web use.
Confers with project stakeholders to discuss project plans, requirements, and progress and provides appropriate feedback.
Utilizes skills and expertise in appropriate software packages such as in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other products used by the company.
Can translate complex clinical and technical content into simple, everyday language, communicating messages clearly and effectively. Is able to analyze content in order to necessarily simplify or clarify meaning in able to garner the intended actions.

Requirements
High School Graduation or GED.
Five or more years coordinating, overseeing and executing marketing/advertising & media campaigns.
Technical understanding of multiple printing fulfillment options including, but not limited to, digital and offset presses, printing for vinyl, silkscreen, embroidery, and more.
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite software and Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing and coordinating internal and external communications projects, attention to design and brand details.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
